Privacy policy

Personal Gmail Attachments is a private tool used only by its owner, Wynand Jordaan, with his own Google account.

Data accessed

The tool uses the Gmail API with the read-only scope gmail.readonly, plus basic profile information to confirm which account is signed in. It reads message headers and fetches a single attachment only when its owner asks for one.

Storage and sharing

Fetched attachments are written to a temporary folder on the owner's own computer and are deleted after use. No Google user data is sent to any server operated by the tool, sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. Sign-in credentials are stored encrypted on the owner's computer.

Limited use

Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access

Access can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
